What Makes Brian Tracy Worth Listening To?

There’s a possibility that you haven’t heard about Brian Tracy yet – maybe no one has told you about his great successes. I certainly thought that something must be a little strange when I was told about how popular his programs are and what he’s accomplished. It can be tempting to just dismiss him as another “millionaire” with a lot of hype, but I took another look, and there are reasons you should as well.

You see, Tracy is a renowned millionaire who has spent years helping people and groups the world over improve their chances of success. For thirty years, he’s spoken in nearly every field, and has written more than 45 best selling books, which are being or have been translated all over the world. People everywhere have taken a look at Brian Tracy and learned how to achieve their goals.

As a consultant for more than a thousand companies, Brian Tracy has been able to help businesses everywhere prosper, including some of the largest corporations in the United States.

He’s presented over four thousand seminars in North America alone, and has spoken in forty additional countries. As a keynote speaker and seminar leader, Mr. Tracy speaks to more than two hundred fifty thousand people each year, and has written and produced more than three hundred learning programs in video and audio formats, also translated heavily.

Tracy was extremely successful before he got started with his own corporation, as well. He’s worked as a CEO for a major company, been successful in all kinds of career niches, speaks four languages and has worked all over the globe. He’s been in niches from sales to management to marketing, and he remains involved in international business situations.

Of course, Brian Tracy hasn’t always been a bright success.

He never finished college, and ended up working menial jobs, including ditch digger, dishwasher and general laborer. However, he went from this situation to being a self made millionaire, and he did it by looking at how the truly successful thought and behaved.

Some people just have more success than others, but there are clear reasons why. You can find out more by checking out his tapes and books – I’ve certainly learned a lot from finding out more about Tracy, and you need to do so, too!

If you’re thinking about checking out the large variety of professional and personal development courses you can get from this millionaire mentor, you’ll be surprised by how many topics are covered. Sales, investment, personal improvement, management and lots of other topics have been covered by this soft spoken lecturer. Mr. Tracy almost certainly has the materials that can help you.

This self made millionaire has accomplished some really impressive things. Once you get started, you’re going to want to find out more about him – after all, to be successful, we’ve got to model ourselves after others who have also been successful. We can be just like Brian Tracy, the millionaire mentor, if we can only decide what we want and learn how not to take no for an answer.

No fee, free paid surveys and survey taking jobs are available for teenagers, adults and people practically of all walks of life. It’s a good opportunity to make money without having to spend any money.

So what’s the catch?

The catch is that money is not free and that it will cost you your time. You will have to fill out surveys. Market research companies that gather information for major corporations to be used in the design of products and marketing campaigns, pay you for your opinion. You will be giving your opinion about products and product ideas. The forms are normally short, so you can start making money right away. Advantages and Disadvantages of Cloud Computing – Cloud Storage

What is Cloud Computing and Cloud Storage?

The word cloud in cloud computing often refers to the cloud symbol in diagrams representing the Internet. Cloud computing can encompass a broad range of hosted services, which primarily include forms of cloud servers and cloud storage. Cloud storage is the process of storing and backing up data on servers, making data accessible through the Internet.

With cloud storage, your data does not have to be located on-site and can theoretically be stored anywhere; which begs the question, is your data safe if you don’t have physical possession of it?

Pros to Hosted Storage:

Depending on configuration, organizations can opt to share resources on a server, allowing them to share the cost of the server with other companies. Although the server is technically shared, other organizations/people do not have access your data. The downside to sharing server resources is that it allows for less customizability and integration with your organization. For this reason, larger corporations with more sophisticated requirements will generally opt for a private server, where they lose the cost saving benefit, but still enjoy the other benefits, like the accessibility of cloud storage.

Cons of Hosted Storage

Localized storage may provide users with piece of mind, knowing that their data is in their office, in a server that they can physically see and touch. This concern is warranted as many users are unaware that cloud storage providers may send their data to places where its’ security can be compromised through foreign laws. For example, if a Canadian law firm stores their files on a cloud server located somewhere in the United States, sensitive client data could be compromised through the US Patriot Act. For this reason, depending on the nature of business, it may be in your best interest to investigate where the cloud provider’s data servers are.

Setting up a local private server can be quite expensive, as companies would need to spend money on server and workstation related hardware, software licenses, installation of patches, anti-virus software, upgrades and much more annually on employing the IT staff to implement, manage and maintain it.

Cloud Storage Recap

Pros:
More affordable than private servers Data is accessible from anywhere Business continuity as data can be backed up automaticallyCons:
Physical location of data is often unknown Data is subject to the law of where it is locatedSmall to medium-sized businesses generally have the most to gain through cloud storage.

Managed and Shared Hosting – How Do They Work?

How Does Website Hosting Work? Webhosting is a method of outsourcing server needs for both web based companies and storage and data transfer needs of entire corporations. For the client it can mean greater data transfer bandwidth and the protection of trained personal on staff when things go wrong or maintenance issues need to be addressed. Additionally, leased lines may also be included in the service agreement, as may the programs, hardware, and operating systems. Although, no industry standards have been set as to exactly what is included, or must be included in a service agreement, generally companies carry about the same amount of offers.

What are the Benefits of Managed Hosting? Managed hosting or dedicated hosting (as it is also known as) is a server that only handles the needs of one company and has installed all the programs and operating systems needed by that company to run the digital part of their company. This complete control over the services and hardware is not only a plus for many clients, it also is a must have for companies that have special programming needs or high server usage. This type of managed hosting is usually better in the long run since it provides added security features and benefits along with better service.

What are the benefits of Shared Hosting? Shared hosting is exactly as it sounds. Several companies share one server along with one set of programs, one operating system, and one uplink. The shorter bandwidth provides less in terms of speed and more in terms of vulnerability. Shared hosting may be considered ideal for most small website needs. Many companies do not need, nor can start up companies afford to rent a server by themselves. They may rely on the products and services provided on a shared network to get their business going, especially at first. Additionally, the lower operating cost that is from not having to rent the programming and possibly the shared uplinks, can sweeten the deal.

How do the two compare? Both services do have their own different drawbacks. However, managed hosting may be more economical in the long run. If your company grows too big for its shared location, there will not be any switching over costs. There is greater protection from malware and viruses that may creep along the partitions in shared services and there is often a wider range of support services that go along with a managed service. Additionally, peer to peer Tier 1 uplink services are often offered by more well know companies, and there is a 99.9% guarantee from most companies that you won’t lose service if one uplink goes offline. This means that your company will experience no down time if something should happen to the network your server is on.

Choosing a service. After looking over the benefits and weighing the costs of shared hosting and managed hosting you may have decided to go ahead with managed hosting. Next it should be quite easy to find a company on today’s market that offers a wide variety of services and packaged deals specifically geared towards your needs as a company. The services included in the packaged deals often include trained professionals so you don’t have to manage your server; you only concentrate on managing your business. Even leased lines and internet services may be included with your packaged services from your managed hosting provider. Now isn’t that simple?

Dedicated Hosting Server for E-Commerce

Welcome to the next stage of the Internet age. While the internet has already integrated itself into the social and cultural aspect of our society, it is just now beginning its full takeover of the business sector. Corporations realize that e-commerce and online departments are no longer supplements to a successful business, but an absolute necessity. Internet presence is now the sole advantage over competitors that companies seek in many major industries. Online advertising, search engine optimization, and Web 2.0 social media are now seen as mandatory investments. With all of this change comes the transition from offline transactions to the growing emphasis on e-commerce. More and more people are choosing to purchase products and services online rather than their local stores.

As businesses adapt to the thriving internet marketplace, they begin to see a drastic increase in brand awareness, traffic, and most importantly, SALES. It used to be that when a business became successful and needed to expand, it would upgrade to a larger facility. What should e-commerce companies do when they begin to experience more traffic and sales than their website can handle? The answer is simple but unknown to many newcomers: “It’s time for a dedicated hosting server.”

What is dedicated hosting? To be blunt, it is having your own dedicated server for strictly your website. It means that you are in charge, and do not need to share anything with anyone else. Generally, when individuals or small businesses start their website, they opt for the beginner friendly shared hosting packages. These tend to be cheaper and are more easily managed; perfect for any newcomer. However, as your website starts to generate a considerable amount of traffic and thus sales, it is essential to upgrade. Imagine a restaurant that shares a building with a coffee shop. If that restaurant becomes the talk of the town, it would be mandatory to upgrade to a bigger and more presentable location with more tables and a larger kitchen.

There are many advantages that come with acquiring dedicated hosting. Because you are no longer sharing your server with anyone else, security is greatly improved. No one else can access the information or files except for you. This one perk alone should be a no-brainer for any company looking out for its best interests. Secondly, bandwidth and disk space are increased and dedicated only to you. Potential customers won’t have to wait as long to load your website, and will make purchases faster. This is especially important when your website has a steady stream of unique traffic coming in daily. Also, more disk space allows you to have the capacity for any future additions to your business.

Functionality and control is also an advantage gained from dedicated servers. You can install a control panel such as CPanel, WHM, DirectAdmin, or Plesk to more easily and precisely manage your website. Having full access to your server allows you to install software and features tailored to your e-commerce business. The possibilities are endless when you have your own dedicated server.

Of course, there are always downsides. Luckily there are only two downsides for dedicated hosting, one of which can be remedied. The first disadvantage is that dedicated servers require some knowledge to maintain. You’ll have to read up about it so that you can properly setup and manage your server, which is troublesome for tech-illiterate business owners. This can be solved by purchasing managed services. Most dedicated hosting companies will offer their customers the option to have their dedicated servers managed for them, for a price. This brings us to the second and most obvious downside: costs. Dedicated servers are expensive compared to its shared counterparts, but with good reason. The amount of revenue gained from implementing a dedicated server into your business makes the costs almost a non-factor. I say almost because the costs may be too much for a business that is just starting out and is producing little to no revenue.

So how do you know if purchasing a dedicated hosting server is right for you? If customers are complaining about the slow speed of your website. If your business is steadily growing. If your revenues are high enough to comfortably afford it. If you are worried about potential security threats to your website. If you are tired of the limitations of your shared server. These are the things you need to consider when making the switch to dedicated servers. If you can relate to any of those, chances are you will need a dedicated server.
